Cultivate True Health

Establishing Cultivate True Health

Upon moving to Charlotte, NC in 2005, Dr. Badolato shifted focus from business to family life. Facing personal health challenges with autoimmune diseases, she became a Certified Health & Nutrition Coach, founding Cultivate True Health to seek and share the truth about wellness.

Feeling called by God, she pursued a Doctor of Natural Health degree, blending her Christian faith with natural healing principles. As a Naturorthopathic Doctor, she addresses root causes of disease and nutrient deficiencies, integrating physical, spiritual, mental, relational, and financial wellness.

Healing the Body, Mind, and Spirit

Faith and Healing Philosophy

Dr. Badolato believes the human body is intricately designed by God. Her Christian faith guides patient care, emphasizing alignment of health choices with spiritual principles and addressing the body as a temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Practice and Patient Empowerment

Cultivate True Health is a healing space that Educates, Empowers, Encourages, and Equips patients. Emphasis is placed on understanding the connection between lifestyle, faith, and well-being.

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime!”

Inspirational Workshops and Seminars

Dr. Badolato hosts workshops as part of the “Heal the Healers” network, providing platforms for like-minded practitioners to share how faith and natural health combine to improve physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.

Interests and Community Involvement

Outside the practice, Dr. Badolato and her husband are active in raising their four boys and a black lab puppy. She leads the Mom's Prayer group at her children’s school weekly and enjoys Barre classes and hiking for exercise.

Meet the Team

Jim Badolato

Director of Operations & Patient Relations

Jim Badolato serves as Director of Operations & Patient Relations at Cultivate True Health, where he helps support the God-given mission of their family practice. He keeps the day-to-day operations running smoothly and is often the first voice patients hear, offering clarity, reassurance, and genuine care.

Before joining Dr. Badolato's practice full-time, Jim spent 30 years in corporate sales and marketing, including 25 years working closely with healthcare organizations.
An early riser by nature, Jim begins his mornings leading and working out with F3 (Fitness, Fellowship, Faith), an organization grounded in discipline, brotherhood, and service. Outside the practice, he serves on the Board of his children’s school and stays actively involved—teaching, coaching, and helping wherever he is needed.

Grounded in his faith and inspired by Proverbs 27:17—“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another,” Jim is passionate about building others up, walking alongside them, and helping each person grow stronger every day.
